Vertex Red Tack EP2 is a high temperature lithium complex based grease blended with superior tackifiers. The product is a multi-purpose grease formulated with premium base stocks and extreme pressure additives providing excellent shear resistance and high load carrying properties. Red Tack EP2 is suitable for heavy-duty applications where water washout and high thermal resistance is required. The product is recommended for use in some industrial, earthmoving, agricultural and marine equipment. Extreme pressure additives and a base oil viscosity of 1600 cSt @ 40℃ provide protection against shock loads, dusty and wet environments. Red Tack EP2 is suitable for bearings, gears, couplings, turntables, pins, hammers, and trailers. Red Tack EP2 is designed to operate between -20 to 185℃ however the product can work intermittently up to 210℃. Red Tack EP2 is not recommended for use in high rotational speed wheel bearings in automotive applications.
